My only problem with two tone watches.....

I absolutely cannot decide which one to get. I have it narrowed down to the TT Sub in black or blue, the TT Sea-Dweller, TT Daytona and the TT Sky-Dweller. I think they are all kinds of cool and you can get one.

My leading candidate is the TT black Submariner which seems to be pretty rare compared to the Bluesy, but I love it. I can't wait to get mine!

Rolex will always be the king of TT imo and the look is timeless. Personally, i'm a bit TT fan. It's the gold watch you can wear daily.

TT is great if you wear lots of other jewelry where you like to match metal to metal; thus its mass popularity with women.

TT black sub is great and very versatile. And this is coming from a former Bluesy owner. Go for it.

Old school perception. Personaly I like the variation in TT more then SS.
I would take my bluesy over SubC.

And here I always thought it was used car salesmen. Guess I'm too young to remember all those 90s dentists and junior stockbrokers.

My likes in TT watches was restricted to the TT Blue Sub and the TT Yachtmaster II (Yes I like the YM II, crazy). However your watch is striking, now on my list of TT likes...

I am considering this two tone Tudor Date Day. I think it looks stunning.

I was always told that TT models were for people who wanted a gold watch but couldn’t afford one. So, for me, steel or gold, but never both on the same watch.

Yes I can understand that but it is an esthetic issue for me - not about affordability. The contrast of colours and metals is appealing for some models (Bluesy particularly) in a way that is different to a SS or PM.

Yes for sure.. A lot of younger folks are reaching for gold or 2 tone models. Tide was bound to turn eventually

TT gives a gold look without the added weight of a full gold watch which is beneficial for daily wear to those who find a 100% solid gold watch uncomfortable. Plus, it costs about 25% less than a solid gold Rolex and matches silver or gold jewelry better and is more durable.

I'm all up for TT. Will probably be my next piece. Hopefully SD43 Bluesy if Rolex are kind enough to make it.

This is a great thread. I'm relatively young (late 30s), and have put together a nice collection of desirable sport pieces (Jubilee Batman, Hulk, black dial ceramic Daytona), but my favorite piece in my collection is my TT Sea-dweller. I always thought this was odd given the trends in SS watch popularity, but its just an emotional thing. The wrist presence and class of the TT SD is amazing. I think its partly due to it size, but also due to that gorgeous 18k gold shine. It just does it for me. So much so that I just sprang for my first solid YG piece, incoming in a few days....

LOL! If this lazy and faulty perception is widespread it works in my favour. I'm so poor I can only afford a triplet of TT Rolex watches. Move on and mug the next guy.

TT watches have always been beautiful and desirable in my opinion. They’re versatile, gorgeous and who cares if someone thinks it’s “dated”. Most of my best friends are 20-30 yrs older than myself anyways so I guess I fit in.

Rolex means SS Submariner,TT Datejust,FG Daydate and TT Blue Submariner for me.I m 35 years old and I dont think TT or FG not for young people.I traded my 16613 and 116613 before and last month I traded my 2020 DJ41 and 216570 polar for a brandnew Bluesy! Most of the people said that is wrong but I listened to my heart.I m so happy now with my Deepsea mark I and Bluesy! The best SS model and the best TT model of Rolex. My next third watch will be FG Daytona with a Paulnewman dial.

Taste is personal, however lots of people allow themselves to be influenced by marketers, uneducated people, and of course the jealous. Rolex TT is a handsome watch, has never been out of style, it's class, like fine wine, a well maintained vintage Porsche, a fine piece of art.
