Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

The oyster is more appropriate for a tool watch

I've seen some pictures but I think they're mostly of 14270 Explorers on jubilees. I searched here and found a couple of old threads on this topic, but neither produced any results, so maybe I'm on a wild goose chase...

very interesting!!

Crazy question - anyone know if a 21mm 62610 jubilee bracelet would fit on the Explorer II?

For me personally, I don’t think the jubilee goes well with a watch that has a plain bezel like the explorer or even the smooth datejust. I just think the jubilee looks better with decorated bezels

Maybe...if the center links weren’t polished...I wondered if I’m not into the 214270/jubilee combo because I’m just conditioned to seeing it on an oyster so much and my brain doesn’t want to think outside the box...but upon further contemplating, no sir, I just don’t like it ha!

Either way, it’s a bad ass piece.

It looks good, if Rolex released this as a limited edition, I think it would be a popular choice. My other half said she would rock it.

i have this watch. Frankly, i have seen photos on this site with the explorer 1 on an Oyster, Rubber, Nylon, Leather, and a Jubilee.
This may be one watch where anything looks good on it.

I think the Oyster adds 'more' to the Explorer.

Love it, might consider getting the jubilee! What's the price for the bracelet?

Jubilee should stay on DJs or GMTs. Just because something can be done doesn't mean that it should be done. However, each to their own. :D

I thought 63200 and 63600 is the same thing? One long one short?

No gap where the curved end meet the watch?

Did anyone mount a super jubilee on an explorer 1 39 before?

I noted different sizing of watches, 36, 39, 40mm etc

Wont that affect the curved end sitting flush against the watch?
