Today I saw a 5711R in the wild... (in Miami at The Standard)

I doubt the wearer is here, but just in case.

Wow!

I want one now

I’ve seen one before at my local mall. He must have been at least 65 years old.

Its gorgeous. And for a solid gold watch its probably the most understated. I still don't feel comfortable wearing it all the time though : )

I'm obviously a huge fan, I remember being blown away by it after seeing it in Wempe on tour, and then with my RG DD2 being updated it felt like fate and I signed up for one.

Major advantage of being in Miami ! Lots of nice watches out and about.

probably sounds a bit incredulous, but a few months back at an Ikea in New Jersey, saw both a 5711R and a 5711/1a in white on the same day. I guess no one can resist those meatballs, chicken fingers, and do-it-yourself furniture..

I haven't been to Ikea for years but I'd sit down to meatballs with my 5711R no problem, but wouldn't expect to meet another PP owner.
