What’s a good price on a mint 116613LB

Hello brethren ,

After being on the radar for 4 years , I am interested in buying a 116613 LB . I understand a BNIB is around $12600 give or take . What can I expect to pay for a pre owned Mint condition watch from one of this forums trusted sellers ? Thanks . Excited to be inking closer to my first Rolex

MSRP is $13400. I expect you would pay around $11500 for a mint one from a trusted seller.

At my AD I don't think you could get a discount on that watch if they had one.

What a first Rolex!

I doubt you will get any discount on rrp from an AD in the current climate.

I got about 7% off on mine

That was in October of last year.

I think I paid $13400ish including tax

Thank you . Seems like AD is not a price effective option in the current market

20% less than what they are being advertised for.
Not a strong seller because of the TT.

I wore previous version exclusively for 20 years.

Check with the bigger sellers here for pricing. Forget any AD discount.
JustRolexes, Takuya, DavidSW, OC Rolexguy,SohAIS are a few of the good ones.

In the UK, this watch on watchfinder is over rrp for a 2yr old pre-owned. rrp is £9,900, they want £10,150 I think.. crazy! (Resale not that bad then, in the UK anyway)!

If you have a relationship with an AD you might be able to negotiate tax if they’ve had the watch on display for a few. Most likely if you find one on display, it’s not been there long. I’d expect MSRP at an AD. I would recommend and a trusted seller on here. And I’d say expect 12k for a mint. You can find many excellent condition examples for Mid-11k Range. You’ll want to make sure that you pick the right 116613LB as the older ceramic versions are in flat blue whereas the newer versions have the sunburst

Based on today’s Rolex market conditions I’d say little or no discount from an AD. Ask for a discount and see if they offer any. I got a double digit discount on mine 2 years ago...that was from an AD I’ve established a relationship with and a diff market.

No AD discount in UK or states. 11250-11500 preowned.

Wow, the prices of these have shot up. I got mine less than a year ago from a private seller for $9,300. The watch was less than a year old and still had stickers.

Don’t know about bnib. If my tastes evolve over time and I want to trade the watch I don’t want to lose $

That seems to be the current going price for these. Last year before the crazy inventory issues, they could be had for $10,300-ish. Today’s inventory climate slapped $1k on almost every preowned models that normally were fairly easy to purchase at the AD. It is only you who can decide if its of good value through the enjoyment of the piece. Personally, the Bluesy is my favorite in my collection and I would never sell it. Perhaps you can ask OCwatchguy to knock down a few hundred dollars... wont hurt to ask.

ps. the listing from OCWatchguy is missing the booklets. If it were me, I would keep searching for a complete set for the same price he is asking.

I only care for them so they can be sold as “complete set” when time does come to recoup or profit as much as possible. If I could get a complete set for the same price as one that is missing a few books, I would prefer the conplete set. That’s just me.
