Victor, Mont Blanc makes great ink. Love that ink bottle design.

Victor, it looks like we have bought the same ink this past week. I was having trouble with my favorite DIamine majestic blue ink in my Montegrappa, I think there is just too much pigment in it for it to flow easily in this pen. My local pen store recommended Mont Blanc or Waterman ink as it flows the best. I chose the Bordeaux as well.
Lovely colour to it and I am very happy I purchased it. I am going to do a review of it and post it here in the next few days so folks can see what it looks like with different nibs!

Hi Victor, hope that this ink works better than the other ink you were using. Montblanc ink-bottles are shaped that way for a specific reason: Having the 'well' at one end of the bottle means that you can concentrate the ink when the bottle starts getting empty, by pouring the leftover ink into the 'well' at the front of the bottle so that you can fill up your pen easier. It's not a new idea, I believe Visconti, Lamy and Sheaffer have bottles like that as well (or at least, Sheaffer DID, until fairly recently).

Hi Victor
I was tempted to buy that same ink recently.
I didn't get it because I was interstate at the time and didn't want to risk the bottle leaking while I was traveling.
However, I'd love to see how it looks, so I might get an idea before I buy

Please show us how it looks

Very nice, Victor! As Ian mentioned above, it appears he has the same color. I've been able to see this first hand on the package and note he just sent me.
