What would you like to know? The Starwalker on the left is a Doue' model 38012 Ballpoint Both pens with twist mechanism, the Doue has a platinum-plated cone and barrel made of black precious resin with circular guilloché pattern, floating Montblanc emblem in transparent cap-top. The cool blue Ballpoint pen model 09979 is my favorite, the barrel is made of bright blue lacquer on a metal guilloché, floating Montblanc emblem in transparent cap-top, highly polished platinum-plated clip and fittings.

The blue one please. What's the model name/ number? I like the subtle pattern change on the blue lacquer as I don't know MB produces one like that. The cool blue I saw has a uniform blue across the whole pen without those patterns.

Do you have any photos that shows it's true colour if this blue is affected by the sunlight?

Thanks.

Awesome collection! Nice.
I went to buy a cool blue FL but after looking at that, and I love the blue, it really is a superb pen, I then tried the Starwalker Black Mystery and bought that as a FL pen. I had my eye on both. In your photos that Cool Blue looks superb in that light. I must say, the Cool Blue really does look better "in the flesh" than any photos I saw before I went to the shop.

Stevo, I am not good enough at photography. I just took two quick shots with a flash and two different backgrounds and they both appear different. The material reminds me of a waterfall resin used on old knife handles (except blue). It really catches the light. Sorry.

without much light

with light

sheez, one more

No worries. The pen does look like that - I went to a shop today and eyeballed the cool blue and it does exhibit those pattern variations. It also has some detailed guilloche lines inside the lacquer, which I didn't notice previously.
