Rolex 6694 dial originality help
Hi!
I am new to Rolex watches and bought my first on a estate sale for what I think was steal. It's an 6694 oysterdate precision with the 1215 movement. What I am wondering is why the dial says only "swiss" not "t-swiss-t" like every 6694 dial i have seen. Has the dial been changed or worse is the watch a fake? Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk |

t swiss t was not used until the 60's with the introduction of Tritium dials. That's what the t stands for.
Earlier radium or non-tritium dials were swiss only..

x2, 63 was the last year for swiss only midsize. if you post the first 3 digits of your serial number(should be a 6 digit SN found between the lugs) we can help you date it. i'm guessing it's from the early 60's. Great find, nothing like a good estate sale score.
