Just in: Tudor 7922
Which parts do I miss? Bezel inlay? Glass retention ring? Dial is redone but I'm afraid that will be a no go.

Looks like the crystal retention ring is there, just the bezel spring is above it. See if you can remove the bezel and spring and see if it looks like this 6205.
The crystal ring on NCGs is different than later subs

Nice to see that really rare stuff still pops up ...
Such a nice era for the Tudor Sub and we certainly don't see many. A correct, fully complete 7922 (or '3' or '4') really is a thing of beauty.
We can't see which crown it has but really nice to see that the end-bubble gilt hand set is in place - very rare. Now the fun really begins sourcing the dial (hens teeth) and the insert (not easy either) Talk to me if you are keen on making the watch easier on the eye while you wait for a correct dial to come up. I have a couple of original 7928 dials that would fit your 390 movement - not perfect examples but priced accordingly. |

Beautiful large bevels. My '61 doesn't have that!
