20-foot luxury electric Mercedes Maybach

Mercedes’ next vehicle is a 20-foot luxury electric Maybach that you’ll “want to drive yourself”

What do you guys think about this new design/direction?

I'm sure it is nice to drive, but it looks like a nightmare to park.

i would have to route my entire trip to traffic lights vs stop signs…no way i could pull out to see traffic without half the car in the intersection

Very cool but not practical. You couldn't even park as you car would be sticking out of spots. I think this a concept car. Not real.

The engine sounds amazing. 200 miles per charge. 60 miles on a five minute charge.

When I see something that looks like it belongs to cruella deville I want to hear that it has a straight 8 or a V12 under the hood.

Who is parking it? If you own the car, you're likely sitting in the back of it.

Design is stunning. I love it, but too long for my needs.
Try doing reverse 180 with this one...

The whole point of Maybach (Like Rolls Royce) is to be chauffeur driven in utter comfort and opulence. I can't imagine you could climb in and out of that with too much dignity.

Nice concept for a new Merc but certainly not a new Maybach (IMO)

Like most concept cars it's just a bit of fun to get some attention and maybe point to some styling cues and design features for the future.
Words like 'practical' and realistic' don't need to apply.

For my family .... it's 460 miles between our home in RI and the home in Maryland, plus the windows look too small for good visibility. We are both retired so no short daily commuting. We owned a C6 Corvette so no problem getting into the thing but it's not practical for us.

Cheers.
