Where you get your username?

Just out of curiosity, I wonder how most members get there username. Creating a username is something that normally sticks with you and have meaning of something quick to make up that you can remember. I got my username "Bmachine" from the movie "The Longest Yard" starring Adam Sandler. When they used the term "Mean Machine". Since my initial is MB and a few of my colleagues I work out with and play sports with called me that. I just switched it to mean Bmachine. How did a few of you come up with yours?

Used to have a Corvette that had 4 exhaust pipes, and I had chrome tips installed. Lost one of the tips and became Tri-Tip.

My year of birth is 1978.

Ronin were masterless Samurai. The only person I've ever looked up to sadly passed away recently. I feel as though, at times, I'm simply wandering through my days anymore.

I was just Hunter until we had another Hunter join a club I was in during college... so then I became The Hunter and he went by his last name.

Singe89...my father was a firefighter that died on duty. He had a more than a few close calls before his death so they named him Singe. 89 was his football number that I wore in high school and college in his honor.

james1787. Well, you can guess my first name...

The 1787.. well, that came from the first telephone number I had for myself when I lived at my parents house growing up. I had to come up with a screen name so I looked at the telephone and added my name. Heh, it's still tied to my original email address which is over 20 years old now!

Back when I started collecting watches (mid-1980's), I was also collecting cameras (pre-digital days). I fashioned a name for my "fantasy" business. It's more of a photographic term on its own, but at the time I thought it was a clever way of tying together two passions.

I used to do a lot of training. I saw Aliens and liked it when Hicks said, “We're all in strung out shape, but stay frosty, and alert.”

I used to end the session by saying, “Stay frosty out there!”

It stuck.

Love off road trucks. Hunting and ranching in Texas. Plus have rural tower sites to access. Always drive a Jeep or Land Rover.
Five Jeeps. And eight Land Rovers thru the years
