vancouver restaurant recommendations?

anyone have any good ones? will be in town on business and need a place for dinner with partners (i.e. my bosses) and clients (I work at a law firm). any ideas much appreciated!

Bluewater for Sushi & Japanese but noisy

Banana Leaf - Great Malayasian

The Sandbar - great west coast seafood & oysters. A little more relaxed inside.

If you want some good food with some musical entertainment (depending on the night)..you could try Fredericos on Commercial Street. Its a 'supper club'.. one of a couple in town. Good food and service when we were there..https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j...48073327,d.cGc.

There are tons of restaurants in town, for sure. Depends on budget and environment.

Miku Sushi, Tavola. Both are casual but really good food and ambiance.

Pretty much covers most of the restaurants worth mentioning in the downtown vicinity.

Only others I would recommend are Annalena, Cioppino's, Five Sails. For after dinner drinks, Lobby Lounge and Raw Bar inside Fairmont Pacific Rim.

Five Sails is Over rated and pretentious, IMO.. Just a 'Scene'..
There are other better to place to 'dine', as mentioned...!!
