Legit check raffle win

Hi guys, I recently won a 2016 sub on a raffle, and the cash alternative was £9,000 but I decided to take the watch. The watch arrived and the card has Chinese writing on it, my friend is telling me the watch is fake but I thought I would get a 2nd opinion from the people that know - you guys, before I contact the company.

Thanks in advance.

Well firstly take those pics with the serial number down. Those can be taken and put on a clone watch. Secondly really can’t tell from just two pics. It takes a whole lot more than that. Yes the card can have different languages because they are sold in different countries and China does have the largest market on Earth so a lot of grey watches come from Asia. If you’re concerned about authenticity the best route is to take it to a local TRUSTED dealer and have them go over it.

Pictures aren’t particularly great or detailed. Why does your friend think it’s fake? Just because it has Chinese on the card? What’s the reputation of the company that did the raffle?

It's from a Japanese store.

Hard to tell, but if it’s complete then I think it is authentic. Best to visit your local RSC and have them check it.

The thickness of the 10 and 50 on the bezel appear thinner to the others, or is that the angle the photo is taken.

Bring it to an AD that sells preowned watches and see what they'll offer you for it. If the make an offer its real, if not, its fake. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

That's Japanese, not Chinese.

It's from an AD in Okayama Tenmaya

Does the serial on the card match the one on the rehaut?

Not the best pictures but those SEL gaps (pic 2) on the watch itself is concerning.... Card may be legit but the watch could be something that does not match... Pic 1 SEL gaps seem to look better.... The Cyclops however don't show the blueish tint that usually are present in almost all fakes of the super case subs... Again pics aren't the best... So that's the best I could tell

Look at the serial number on the case. Fake watch seem to always get this wrong.

Couldn't read the entire serial on pic 2 and the card, but 53TY could be seen (at least for me) on the rehaut

This is the biggest red flag.... OP seems to be the originator of a raffle, rather than a participant... Here's his first post... Is this a test? I don't know...

New pics of watch and RS3 to follow

I do think they are all Chinese characters. The Japanese language uses Chinese characters sometimes

Red flag? Very odd that you have spent the time to dig up a post from 3 years ago, but yes I have done a watch raffle in the past, and no I'm not the 'originator' of this raffle as I clearly stated this is one that I have won and asked for a legit check. Not sure what your getting at, but you must be living under a rock to not know watch raffles are very popular these days. To ask if its a test is very strange behaviour haha!

Anyway thank you to everyone else for your replies, i'm pretty convinced it's a genuine model so I'll most likely be using it as a part ex.

Cheers
