New to Forum but not new to Rolex
Have owned Rolex watches since 1982, bought and sold a few but kept my two favorites.
White Daytona model 16520 purchased new in 1997 and a Blue face Submariner SS/gold model 16803 purchased in 1988. In the past I have sent both watches to RSC using insured registered mail in the US. Both watches should be serviced as they only last about 2 to 3 days wearing 12 hrs/day. Unfortunately the values have skyrocketed and I'm scared to ship either watch especially the Daytona so they sit in a safe on watch winders. Should I just wear them for a day and not worry, are they being damaged on the watch winders if the lubricant is dry, should I just suck it up and send the watches in to Rolex. Your guidance would be most appreciated. Ohniner Hilton Head SC USA |

Welcome. I would make sure they are appropriately insured for current market value. Hodinkee does the easiest insurance through Chubb with no appraisal. Several threads here if you use the search function. I would contact Dallas RSC and send them in one at a time and have them serviced. I chose Dallas over NY as I find Dallas has better customer service. Great watches by the way.
