Forum(s) Search Feature

OK - I am sure there is a simple remedy for this but it is beyond me. Any of you ever use the search feature - say on the sales forum looking for a specific type of watch and have returned results dated from 7 years ago? TRF is very user friendly with editing, posting etc but what am I missing with the search feature?

I use it sometimes, but it never returns what I am looking for.

I find that the TRF search function doesn't work well for short words with only a few letters (e.g., "IWC"). In these instances, I usually use Google to search rolexforums and the word I'm trying to find. I hope that helps.

There have been many threads about this but I haven't had a problem.

I have just followed the instructions.

So we have an idea of your issue which model were you searching for and what did you enter?

It used to work well but not anymore. For eg, if you search "16750" , it does not show the following thread:

Agreed. When I do a search I often get stuff going back to 2007.

I often use google with “Rolex forum” tagged behind … seems to work easier than going through the search function here :2
