Patek Philippe prices

Is there a rhyme or reason for the Patek Philippe list prices as they seem pretty random with a range of numbers for the hundreds and tens place and was wondering if they follow some pattern with some significance?

xx,680
xx,760
xx,140
xx,270
xx,950

Rounding to tens after FX conversion and adjusting for VAT? CHF prices including Swiss VAT are ending on hundreds / 00, no tens, as far as I have observed.

Just figures everything is just a figure whether $54,740 or $62,840 does not really matter or have science behind it.
