Thoughts on this 1803?

Considering this 2.7mm serial 1803. Curious to hear everyone's thoughts. Case has seen a polish for sure but looks strong to my eye. Appreciate the feedback!

I like it and it looks good for a watch that age. If the price was reasonable then it would be mine.

Looks good, although in photo No. 6 ... are those scratches on the dial or just something on the crystal? I'd want to confirm the dial is mint.

I like this 1803, I just hope that the price consider the cost of the bracelet, quite expensive and hard to find

I like it ! A minute track dial is always cool and adds to it's charm. It will look great on a number of straps.

It has been polished and looks like a decent job - brushing on lugs looks slightly stronger than rolex factory brushing. Bezel is very sharp. Watch is in overall very good condition for its age.

Thanks for everyone's thoughts. I'm having some doubts about the authenticity of this case. In my last picture in my OP, the reference stamp is shown. It didnt look totally right to me. I've looked at 1970 1803s using google images and it gave me further doubts. Anyone have a 2.7mm serial here that they can take a picture of the "REGISTERED DESIGN 1803?"

The first picture below is the watch I am interested in, followed by what I've found on the net. serial number of each respective example is in red.

This is from a time when cases, dials, hands, bracelets, etc were not consistent at all. A lot of parts and sometimes cases due to precious metal import bans were made by 3rd party manufacturers.

I hear you on that Matt but I cannot find a single example where the 3 in the 1803 stamp looks similar to the watch I'm interested in.

Look at all of those letters, do any of them look exactly the same? Case looks fine to me

Concur. Put the loupe away and enjoy it.

There's plenty of meat on the "hump" between the crown and the bezel, which is always a sign of an 1803 case that isn't overpolished.

Thanks all. I’ve found a similar 3 on a 1680 from the same serial range. Everything is a minefield these days. Appreciate everyone’s input. Now to try and buy it!
