beautiful watch!
the case seems to be crisp and fat... -just minimal polished up
Reference number should be a 16238!

Enjoy that beauty!

Maybe it's just me, but why does the case appear to bulge out between the bezel and crown?

That was normal on some Datejust and Day Dates of the 70's and early 80's.

Dear daviephi,
in my eyes its a 16238 cause of the sapphire crystal, plane dial and quickset movement.
Furthermore the fluted bezel ring and the Tritium dial.

The bracelet code is 6311 and endlinks should have 47 marked inside...
The 6311 is the code which is stamped left of the rolex logo, isnt it?

Here a example:

one more time: Great watch, great condition! enjoy.
