Santos de Cartier Appreciation Thread

I searched but couldn't find a general Santos thread. Picked this up last week and these are just stunning watches...

Would love to see vintage examples in this thread as well!

I do like the watch but with no AD's in my area I have never really sought it out. I would like to have one in the future.

A few pix of my blue dial Santos. I love the steel bracelet, but I also added the rubber strap from an ADLC model, and I like how it looks and feels with this one also.

Just got home with the Cartier Santos Medium and it’s perfect. I’ve been looking at them online for some months but only today was I able to find one in an AD. I did wonder if it would be too sporty but it’s very fine and elegant with a very attractive satin dial. A sure keeper for this 6”/15cm wrist!

Love these watches! How hard are they to find in ADs/boutiques?

The current Santos de Cartier has an amazing quick change strap. That, however, means that no 3rd party options are available right?

The 3rd party ones I've seen are rubber and leather, you can find them on Rubber B site and Amazon has a bunch.

Are you sure about this? I don't see it on the rubber b site and only can find an article on their blog about the Santos 100....nothing for the newest version with proprietary strap connection.

Correct... I just double checked with my AD at Cartier and the Santos 100 bracelet will not fit Santos.
