I bought a 5196 in December 2019 and they have never had another since then, it’s a shame it’s being discontinued as it’s a classic Patek, with the 6119 models already there the chances of a larger 6196 coming are none existent. I think we might see a new automatic Calatrava.

Wow. I am the "lucky" one. Both my 5320G and my wife's 7200R are on the list.

Thank you for the info. I cannot wait to be in March/April...

They are making room for so many potential interesting watches... grand complications, complications and calatrava. 2022 seems to be an intense year (with all brands).

It looks like PP is making room for Calatrava's.

What surprises me is that 2022 is Aquanaut's 25th anniversary. And there is no leak about this collection. So they may "move" later in the year.

Do you think?
They will have the 6119 then the 5227
What more could they do or add in between before making it a complication?:

They may add a travel time complication, if you go through the old models there are not many that have been re produced, here is one I would love to see

Where would you price such a piece?

Calatrava automatic with date 29k before price rise so to add a complication you must be talking 35k?

Seems like maybe it’s will be a good year. I’m most curious how the next metal, presumably 5320R? Would look. Will they stick with the syringe hands? Hmm

Also top question is what does the 5270 successor look like but I’m guessing that’s for another year as the 5270J still running. Wouldn’t be shocked to see another variation of the 5270P. My preference would be no more P and drop a 5270J black dial for a year or so before calling it quits. I’d also love the 5070J colorway on a 5172J.

That would be interesting. Whatever it will be, I'm sure Patek will come out with something super cool.

Not long left to get a 5990 from AD now

[QUOTE=archer1021;11900341]

In my eyes this watch is just great as it is. Regardless of what Patek comes up with, this watch was a revolution in case build and symmetry when released, more than an evolution of 5980, and in my humble opinion it will be well missed when discontinued.

Compared with other Patek chronographs, considering number of complications, water-resistance and case-build, it is a remarkable feat of thickness constraint from Patek. Its symmetry, with two vertical round counters, for me is irresistible.

I really hope to get one before it is modified or discontinued. I have lusted over this 5990 for years and my liking for this watch has not waned.

There is still one month to go…

No more 5205 (all metals?)… ooooooo interesting!

Was hoping they would do a 5205 P with a salmon dial.

This must be a mistake because they only brought out the 013 a few years ago - blue dial its white gold

When does the actual run-out list from Patek usually come out?
