Hi. I need your advice of a purchase decision on 16610, W serial (1995/96), thanks.

1. Do you think the watch has been polished?

2. Is the T25 dial original or service dial? Why would you think so?

3. It looks like the T25 dial is not turning yellowish/patina enough. Will it still turn to yellow in future?
How long does it take to turn to nice creamy patina?

Looks polished imo but only based on the crown on the buckle and the fact there’s no scratches at all. I don’t think that matters at all. Looks like a very nice example.

Can’t really speak to the dial originality, but I’d say don’t put too much weight on a hope it will continue to patina. It might, it might not. Impossible to tell really.

I’m sure others will chip in, but this looks really nice.

The box doesn’t appear to be period correct. I don’t think it matters, just something to be aware of.

First all watches of that age if serviced correctly would have some polishing at normal service, but looks OK and not over polished.And some later Tritium dials to not patina as much as the early Tritium dials. And many Tritium dials today are artificially done to extract more money from buyers,the dial on watch in picture is correct for the serial.

Polished? Yes. But a good example to my eyes.

If the tritium hasn’t started to patina, I wouldn’t count on it to start.

The chamfers are not original. So, yes … polished.

It is polished but looks like a very decent job (brushing on lugs looks factory finish). Need more pictures from the sides.

T 25 Dial is original and not service - you should check though hands are tritium (period correct) and not luminova (service).

It's very white and might stay this way. If you are looking for more patina it might be better to find one with already a stronger patina.

Not factory, but an excellent re-polish job. One of the best I have ever seen.
