Yes i am, it's our anniversary today..... I did buy her some very nice shoes that came last week.... but thinking I should surprise her today too.....

Call LV La Encantada. Ask for the manager and explain you want a nice gift for her and need a special treat. Make dinner reservations at her favorite place, call before to explain to staff. Pre select dinner and wine.

Drive her to La Encantada, and ask for the manager (you already have the name, ask them to have 10 options already out within your budget). Let her choose. Go to dinner, where dinner will be with no menu nor wine lists, just food showing up. Be a champ!

Make the experience the gift. Rather than picking a bag that she might exchange, have everything laid out for her to pick up. Be proactive, it is only a couple of calls and you can make this memorable

As she arrives, tell her to go to LV and ask for X (manager), you will take care of kids, it is time for her. Have X lay out bags and ask them to do NOT talk price. Give X your credit card info. Even better, ask them to open a small bottle of champagne for her. That small detail is unique. Make her special and be the center of it all.

G..... You are the man.... got a sitter. I am waiting a call back from the manager. but will head up there soon. they close at 6.... Wife will be home at 5..... luckily she is "cleaned up" earlier
