Yellow gold
Yg seems to be the main "push" on ap site
And I wonder if they've discontinued the 15202 etc in rg? I can only see the 37 mm version! Am I just being befuddled or is there a cull in rg royal oaks? |

No they still have the 15202 in RG. I think they are coming out with YG models but still going to stick to there RG roots.

I wouldn't think they would discontinue the RGs, the YGs are a bit too loud for many, including even me without a ceramic bezel to tone the look down a bit.

Some of the older YG versions seem to have taken a premium rise in price on the SH market due to AP's push on YG for the new watches.
I'm not sure this is a "real" on demand push for a higher price, or more of a sellers try. There's some AP's that look great in YG, but Rose Gold is so much more subtle imho.

Don't want to offend anyone but for me YG looks a little too loud and even vulgar on some models which are full gold, RG is a little loud and I couldn't for the time being wear one on bracelet but it is more classy IMO, again just my opinion, I could very well wear a RG on rubber but YG is just too bright for my taste, but again in France most people like white metals, very rare to see a french guy with a full gold watch, RG or YG
