A good daily AP.

Looking to dip my foot in these waters again.

I'm going to be honest, it's a problem (being honest) of mine, I just don't want to wear a Rolex.

I'm really enjoying my Omega watches, but I do want something a little bolder. My Yaeger is a keeper, but with no date, it's got something missing. I don't need a date, but I do want one.

My concern is the size. I typically stay at 42 or under. Balance is an issue too. I'm thinking standard diver or ceramic with orange.

Any guidance or thoughts/ideas would he appreciated.

Ceramic diver won't feel as big as the steel Diver because of the weight difference and also won't look as large because of the color. And the bezel will look better with daily wear.
The ceramic will be less top heavy, and the FC even more so

It's always good to have an AP in the lineup.
What about the Navy 42 ROO, nice rubber strap like the diver plus chrono

Love my 15300, the perfect daily and much thinner than the ROO line. Fits great under my dress shirt and has the date function you want. Perfect for my 6.75" wrist. ROC is a great choice too.

No wrong choices ... 15300, 15400, steel diver, ceramic diver ...

They are all awesome! Very few I do not like, if any ... Every WIS needs one.

For me, this is the perfect AP, daily or not:

Agreed there are no wrong Choices. If cost is a consideration find a solid used diver.

Lebron ROO, understated luxury!

J/K, get a 39mm- they are the perfect size!

FWIW I actually tried a Lebron and liked it...

Get the ceramic diver, had it for a year it is simply a stunning watch and a real pleasure to wear, no way this one will ever leave, perfect for everything except with suits but I seldom wear them

Have you thought about the FC diver? I prefer that over the ceramic.

However, I'd personally want a watch with an AP bracelet first. I wear this beauty almost daily. You should try it on.Image1459239524.869999.jpg

Any of the ROO line would be ideal.

Try on a 44mm (you pick the flavor) and see what you think.

Remember you can have short strap put on AP's to help with fit if needed.

IF that is too large, try on a 42mm (ceramic is a fun one).

Congrats for stepping out into other brands.

You mention Ceramic Diver...This would be a great choice

I assume you're good with the black color - so I would try on any/all of the Forged Carbon and Ceramic versions both 42mm and 44mm...

Personally I love the 44mm FC and 44mm Ceramic versions and find they "wear" a little smaller on the wrist.

Ceramic Diver would be an excellent choice...scratch resistant, especially on the bezel where APs are most susceptible, light weight and well balanced, nice black/orange color combo, and it's simply a very attractive piece.

Good luck and have fun choosing.

The 39mm ROs will probably fit you best as APs tend to wear bigger. Try on the 42 ROOs as well altho I find the chronos with smaller dials wear smaller than the Divers... but don't get the orange, let's get those new orange POs.

The FC ROO looks amazing on you Serg. Having seen so many 44mm ROOs recently on TRF on a wide range of wrists is making me think hard about acquiring the SS ROO - I have been hesitant to pull the trigger only bc of my "smallish" 7.25-inch wrist. Gotta get down to the AD this week to try on the 26400st again.

Thank you Ken! Any 44 should be perfect on 7.25 .... FC wears a little smaller than SS due to the colors but no worries. You won't regret it. It's an absolute beast and I miss mine dearly! I wish I could have both.

Here's another ;)

diver makes a great daily wearer.....wear and tear on bezel???...maybe if you take a magnified glass and look at my wrist.....

furthermore, the bezel will look pristine after and service **AP says the bezel can be refinished 3 times.....worst case? purchase a new bezel down the road...

oh, this also applies to rolex explorer 2, 116520 daytonas etc....

watches that get 'worn' sooner or later show it. thats a good thing.

if ceramic diver is a serious option, then, that's the one for sure.

the ROs are lovely, too, but i don't think they have that "bold" look you're looking for?
