help me decide

ok..I have decided to go with a 44mm ROO

This will be my daily watch - casual work environment, weekends etc..saving my platona for nights out and when i need to wear a suit.

So its either
1. Black ceramic - rubber
2. Anthracite ceramic - rubber
3. Pink Gold - rubber strap

i think i have decided against carbon
I love the blue/plat ROO - but i cant justify without selling the platona

Thanks for helping!

Ceramic all black will be my choice. RG44 is too heavy as a daily.

For me, it would be a toss-up between 1 and 2.

Exactly plus the ceramic doesn't scratch, RG does, and I also prefer all black, anthracite is nice but saw them both sode by side and prefer the black, but really all black, not black with the white rehaut, there is 2 different all black ceramics, one has this white rehaut which is too bad

I'd get the RG but sounds like anthracite is best for you.

Rose Gold first , Anthracite second.
The weight of the AP RG will be more similar to your Platona than the lighter weight Antracite. Depends I guess if the "weight" bothers you or not...

i like heavy - but prefer not to be blingy (thus a platona -looks SS)...so im thinking the RG is out..id rather not stand out..so its either black or anthracite

Love the platona but how about trading it for the plat 44mm ROO and also getting CE diver or SS ROC?

If keeping the platona I would go with the anthracite CE 44mm.

If you are only getting one, get the RG. If you would consider two down the road, then add the ceramic anthracite.

I wonder if AP would put an anthracite dial in the RG? I know the markers and logo won't match but I still think it would work to make a helluva watch.

I get your desire not to stand out, I also considered the RG but decided it was too loud, where I live is basically a safe place except if people see you have a big gold watch, I ordered a RG watch on strap but it is much smaller and much more discreet, at least I hope it is, at the AD or on your wrist the whole day is another, if it is too loud will just wear it in winter under sleeves I guess, since I love watches for me and not for others I have no need for people to see what I have on my wrist

I'd get RG. Forged carbon as a second option .. with cash to spare for another watch. Ceramic is cool but (to me) not at the price.

What I never understood is that the FC and CE divers are the same price give or take, but on grey market, new or used the 44 FC is much cheaper than the CE, don't really understand the logic to be honest...

heavy voting on the RG.
Soooo tough a decision. Love the ceramic, RG and plat but cant justify 2 plat watches and ive always said i wouldn't wear anything but white gold or plat so the RG is out even though its incredibly beautiful! i just worry it stands out too much too wear as a daily.

So, ceramic with grey dial wins
Cant wait to get it - ill post pics tomorrow. My first AP - i think im hooked already!!

Since i live in Saint Petersburg - ill make an appointment at AP clear water next week to look at straps...any recommendations?

The GP strap with red sides is fantastic. Looks amazing on Ben's 44mm.
