Gorgeous!
30 years, of course, it helped living close.to the plants.
When I was a teenager I would find prototypes and pens that didn't make it on to the national market. I think I have had 4 contract watches from the old Sheaffer Jewelry store.

I don't find alot like I use to. In the old days I would go to a flea market and almost always leave with literally a fistfull of pens. And I have big hands.

The hardest one to find in the last photo is the unassuming brown pen on the right center. It is an early Parker Duofold. Notice the different shade between the cap and the body? The body is made of Lucite, not rubber. The only other examples I have seen have had rubber caps as well, so I believe that is how it originally came.

#17 I will let you guys in on a secret.
Mandarin yellow Parkers really are not rare.
I find them to be the 2nd most common behind the reds.
I would rate them from common to rare this way:
1. Red
2. Mandarin yellow
3. Lapis blue
4. Jade green
5. Black
6. Marbled for Duofold Sr, but more common than black in smaller sizes.

I see most of your pens are American. Have you ever collected European or Asian pens?
Rafael

Many more Pelikan, Omas, MontBlanc but I trashed the photos, because when I sold them, I felt a kind of loss, that having photos around would make me miss them more. Now I save the photos for documentation.
As I am not a collector, in that I get no pleasure from just owning something. I have to use it. I must lack an acquisitive personality.
I enjoy selling pens because it allows me to continue to hunt.
The hunt is everything........

Go to Imgur (✷ the better image hosting site)
or
photobucket

upload your photos there FIRST then simply copy what is called "the linked BB Code"
Copy and paste THAT into your post here, or on any other forum ... then you can have 50 photos in your post.
