Congrats!

I got one about 3 weeks ago — I love it.

I just picked up an official Omega NATO for it. I love how I can change straps/bracelets for different looks —- something I would not do with my Rolexes (I just leave them on their bracelets). This is my fun “personality” watch

Congrats! Love mine too. I’m still waiting on the omega black rubber strap and two omega natos to arrive.

The nato looks great! The watch looks great in all environments. Yes, I never did anything fun with my Sub. Bracelet only. This is a fun watch for sure!

The red lettering is probably the best part.

Love that watch! I have the older white dial quartz version from the 90s - 2542.20. Thinking may be I should swap out the polished stainless bezel insert for a black one....

Really like the look of that model. It might be the most legible dial I've seen, and the looks are perfect.

More fun with a $20 Barton silicon band in the pool ... can you say, “fun summer watch?”

I have the same reference, with a black dial, on rubber and absolutely love it. I’m getting an itch to add the ss bracelet. Now 42mm is the max size I like on my ~7” wrist. Can you comment on if the bracelet makes the watch appear or feel larger when on the bracelet compared to the rubber strap? I know it will be quite a bit heavier, that ok. I’m concerned that the bracelet will make the watch appear larger. Thanks

I haven't noticed it looking too much bigger - have 6.75" wrists...but you'r comment about heavier is extremely accurate! Not uncomfortably heavy but definitely noticeable.

It does not make the watch itself look bigger. It does add to the wrist presence, because the bracelet is 20 mm thick and does not tapper. It is heavier but you get use to it quickly. The micro adjustment clasp is better then Rolex's glidelock. I love being able to go back and forth between rubber and bracelet. They each have their environments.

The one thing I wonder (worry) about is the huge clap on the bracelet. It looks like there’s 1.5-1.75 inches of smooth metal there. Does it get totally scratched up?

Yes, but not any more than a sub clasp, and I feel like the bracelet has a more toolish feel to it than say a sub since it doesn't taper.

In terms of bracelet comfort, no competition, Rolex wins hands down. But, the Omega is still very good here.

It is a big chunk of a clasp. When I am at my desk I put a small note pad under my wrist so I don't get the desk dives.

Thanks! And congratulations on the beauty. Couldn’t decide between the black and white. Went conservative, bit after pics like yours I wish I didn’t.
