Paying a Mexican AD and then wondering if it was smart? Even further, agreeing to spend another $2,500 on something you don’t want?

I would not have done that deal even without the Omega.

You now have to spend more money to fly or drive there at some unknown time in the future?

I contacted an AZ AD recetnly and they said they are not allowed to ship but I could pick it up in AZ. Unfortunately, I'm not driving 150 miles to pick up a watch.

I purchased a Hulk from my local AD, whose store is closed to walk-up customers, but does business over the phone. They ship all purchases over night, even locally. Except for not sizing the bracelet, the purchase went well.

Why would you ever take a risk and make a purchase where the "AD" offered you three Rolex watches, two of which you were not interested in? And to boot, you had to spend another couple grand to get a sought after ROLEX? And the "AD" could not ship internationally?

Couldn't the "AD" fully insure the watch and ship it to you? Fortunately, you may have mitigated some risk by using a charge card. But, in my opinion, you should have passed on this deal or bargained to have the extraneous purchased dropped from the sale.

Good luck! Keep us posted on this transaction.
