first post! ive been reading about different trusted vendors like davidsw, trying to see what else is out there. any other trusted sources for new or preowned DD40 and submariners?

Just wander around the forum for example until you find nice and trusted sellers/dealers and then everything will be fine.

I think you've already found your source in DavidSW. If you're looking for a new item you'll most likely do much better through him than an AD. Personally I've done a dozen or so deals with DavidSW including new and pre-owned, buys, sells, trades, Rolex and non-Rolex. I've yet to be disappointed.
