Fake 6263 on the bay

Bidding at $5100. Not sure what the seller is trying to sell but that movement is not a 727

Valjoux 72 with an aftermarket engraved bridge.

Dial might be good with scratches and missing lume plots.

What's the seller doing wrong requiring us to "watch out"?

Price is now high, as the assume the case is aftermarket. Maybe someone else feels the dial is genuine? Maybe it is but I’m not an expert on Daytonas.

This is a model I would love to own one day however. Not interested in the automatic ones personally.

He is trying to pass bad parts and a valjoux 72 movement as being of Rolex manufacture. The bridge that says Rolex on the movement is counterfeit, that is enough. I suspect the back case is also counterfeit and it also says Rolex.

I think the seller is being very straightforward with what he has got. I messaged him and he was very honest about the watch.
