go with the 177. the p5000 movement is junk and if you need to service it from panerai GOOD LUCK.

Or up your budget and get the pam 233, probably the best pam and best pam movement

I know the 233 is an icon, the dial is just a little busy for my taste.

I think there's no all brushed Ti luminor case with P2002,I'm only aware of 4 titanium cased P2002 based watch and from what I've seen, the bezel of these are polished except on the 341,but I assume you wouldn't want to wear 60mm watch daily right??

Pam 341 - 60mm(!!) egiziano
Pam 346 - 45mm radiomir with date
Pam 368 - 47mm luminor 1950 destro
Pam 73x (forgot the ref) - 346 with green dial

Great info! But you are correct, the 60mm clock wouldnt get much wrist time!

I am leaning towards the 177 and frankly would probably own one if not for all those who voice their displeasure with spending that kind of money on an ETA movement.

Don't hear the voice of others, what matters is do you like the watch?

For comparison,I stupidly paid full retail in boutique for my 177O back in 2012...but it's one of my favorite pam as it's classic, simple and legible...which is the main things about Panerai that seem forgotten in SIHH this year
