Broken new Pam1359

Was so excited to get my new Pam1359 from watchshopping.com through Chrono24, But after setting the time, I immediately noticed that the hour hand is off by at least 2 mins from the hour marker.

Has anyone else had this problem from a Panerai?

Here are some pictures.

Already contacted Chrono24 and Watchshopping.com to replace it. I don’t want to go through the problem of sending to Panerai and waiting weeks or months. I heard they don’t have the best of services.

Sorry for the hassle. Definitely return it if you can.

As for Panerai service, I’ve had nothing but top-notch experiences.

I wouldn't hesitate to return it if I received it like that.

As for Panerai customer service, I am iffy about using them myself. The only person I know personally that has sent their watch in for service, has had trouble twice. Granted, that is a very small sample size, but when they are people you know personally, they tend to carry more weight.

I’m still waiting for their reply but since it’s the weekend I’ve heard nothing so far.

Thanks for letting me know that Panerai service is good contrary to what my friend has told me.

I had a similar issue with a JLC. The min and hour hands were out by about 3 mins. Your's looks worse. Sent it to the Richemont US Service center that handles both JLC and Pam's. Got the watch back within 14 days, no charge even though the watch was out of warranty. Despite what others say I had great service.

I think you entitled to a replacement or refund, the defect is totally unacceptable.

Return it, if possible.

BTW I also had very positive experience with Panerai service center here in KL and in Singapore.

I used to work for Cartier Richemont client relations centre hong kong, and we were in the same office with multi-brand (panerai), the after sales department does an excellent job and i'm sure its the same quality service worldwide.

Return it buddy because i'm sure thats irritating knowing its there even if you're wearing it.

The watch should come perfect with no defect so just return it buddy!

Thanks Folks! It’s a bummer because I was hoping to wear it during the new year. I have returned it and Watchshopping was helpful and easy to talk too, albeit it took a while for them to respond, understandable because of the holidays.
They said they will either refund me or send me another watch on their stock after inspecting it (?)
I asked them to inspect the watch that they’ll be sending me, coz I don’t want the hassle of buying, waiting and sending it back again.
Cheers!
I’ll update with some pics once I get my purchase

Finally got the replacement! Took a while but It’s on my wrist now. Strapped on the Wotancraft path of war strap I ordered and it’s looking sharp.

I’ll post better shots when I get a chance.

Cheers!
