Grateful if any expert can take a look at this 1007

Hi everyone! I am about to buy my first ever Rolex and was wondering if I could get some advice from the community here. I know it is not recommended to dive into the sea of vintage Rolexes right away but I really feel a connection with this piece. My main concern is the dial as it looks quite new to me for a watch from the 1970s. It also has a sigma logo at the bottom but the indexes and hands do not look like they contain gold. Therefore, I would be grateful if you could share with me your thoughts on whether this is an original and authentic 1007. Thank you very much for your time.
