Royal Oak on beaches or in swimming pools
Do you use your Royal Oak at the beach or pool? Is it safe to do so? It's a watch I love but the fact that it's only water resistant to 50m makes me have doubts.
Opinions please. |

AP say it’s fine to swim with either a Royal Oak (50m) or Offshore (100). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I've worn my RO TT swimming - no issue with that.

I was advised by my AD to not wear my 15400 swimming. I have a friend that wore his 15400 to the beach and it got water damaged; so I have some residual fear as a result haha

I have worn my 15400 to the beach and pool. No problems with WR. However I would advise that you soak/wash it in normal water if it has been in saltwater (beach). In the beginning when I didn't do that there was some salt buildup at the crown and I had to have it serviced.

I use my 15300 for swimming at the pool & beach. AP says is it's ok (https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/en/services/faq.html) so why not enjoy it?

Should be ok. Although a friend jump from a height of 10 feet into the water with his 15400 and got water damage from it.
