Happy hunting.
The hunt will be part of the fun. Do y’all think the TT will depreciate faster than the SS? At some point Rolex will start making more SS to meet the demand, right?!

I have a blue seamaster chrono and went with the SS white face.

Hit reply too quickly... The two tone white face is great, not a huge fan of the TT black face. SS black is great as well.

Had the opportunity for either TT gold dial or SS black. Went with the SS black. Couldn't be happier. TT just doesn't look right to me unless it's the classic Datejust.

SS. More understated and casual.

I love how this looks and I have a SS blue dial... really just a matter of preference. I want to add a TT GMT at some point

You really need to see it in person to decide for yourself. Pictures don't do either metal justice, IMO.

I got the Blue at list and it was quite a bit cheaper than the TT. That was the decider. I like the two tone version but not their price tag. I believe this is one of the big draws of the SS models all around.

That is the difficult thing about the Ss Sky D. There just aren’t any to see in person. The TT are not very common either. Does anyone know an AD with a Ss in the case??

Ok TRF,
I wife has decided that I should get the TT Sky D with the Gold face. What do y’all think of that one? Does anyone have any wrist pics?

I’m honestly just happy she is cool with me buying an $18k watch.

Thanks in advance

That is acquired taste and usually seen often at AD desk. Look awesome but not everyday piece for me. It’s loud.

Is there any hope the AD will discount a watch that is on waitlist? Seems unlikely
not likely. But TT are not as popular as SS/WG. If you find one that's just sitting in the case, I think you can certainly ask.

It seems like the TT/Gold face would be pretty flashy. I think we need to go look in person. It’s tough to tell from the Internet.

It's a taste thing but you would get the TT way faster then a SS... but never settle if you are not 100% satisfied ;) I like both and the TT blacks looked awesome on the pics above
