Some 15450 Love

Let's be honest, the 15450 is the least popular of the RO's as many people have an issue with buying a 37mm watch. I have to say, I was cautious at first because everything I'd heard and read on this forum.

I am an average sized bloke with an average build and 6.5" wrists, and it could hardly fit me better. I would say it wears the same size as my Daytona's.

What makes it even better, is that it works well as an oversized watch for my wife, so she now has my silver dial.

I have recently ordered a Patek 5990 and the blue dial AP may have to go in order to fund the Patek, but I'm desperately hoping that I can keep both. I wasn't previously completely sold on the AP as the bracelet is just a little bit shiny, but it has really grown on me recently.

Nice, I was considering the exact watch to replace my long gone 15400. However the thickness of 450 seem out of proportion compared to the dial size.

Fantastic pics Vince! The blue tapisserie dial is pretty awesome.

I couldn't agree more with your observations on the 37mm RO. It fits very similar to a 39mm E1 and SS Daytona.

I have 7" wrists and my 15450ba feels just right!

Nice man. It looks fantastic! I love the deep blue dial color. I’m patiently waiting for mine to come in. Should be soon.

Interesting. I’ve actually tried one on and did not observe the this The overall size and proportions are right on in my opinion.

I had similar first impressions when trying on the 450. The 400 is just too big for my 6.675 inch wrists , so i am kind of stuck. May try the 450 on again . Have also been keeping an eye out for 15300 at an accessible gray to see how that wears.

Looks great on your wrists, and I definitely agree regarding the size!
Here’s me 36MM 14790 on my wrists. Fits like a glove and the dial is a charmer!

You guys are all wearing women’s watches!

Not sure where that perception came from, as many people wear 36mm Rolexes without hesitation.

I love the 15450 so much, it feels absolutely perfect on my 6.5” wrist.

Great pics, guys!

Those pieces look great, they don't look small at all. AP cases have a way of filling up the wrist nicely.

Very nice watches guys. My only small gripe with the 15450 is that it came across as proportionally much thicker in appearance.

Ya hala, Keif al-Hal? Do you know what size your wrist is? I'm trying to decide between this and the 15400 or even 15300. I love this one, so if it will fit me I'd like to buy it :)

So glad you posted these pics. I had read so many 'meh' comments about the 15450 before this post. This was reassuring, given how unlikely it is that I'll get my hands on a Jumbo.
Given that my wrists are somewhere between 6.5 and 6.75", it seems like I need to re-think things and see if I can score the 15450.

Great pics, fellas. IMO the 15450 is better proportioned than the 15400. It definitely suits my 6.75” wrist better.

Those RG pieces are downright drool worthy.
