First Breitling

Just picked this up today - all I can say is what an incredible piece. They really knocked it out of the park with this reference.

Congrats! I agree that this is really a great watch. I love the shade of blue in the bezel.

Congratulations! I’ve always found that to be an exquisite model.

How do you like the strap? I’ve never tried it on.

Just gorgeous! Exact watch I’m shopping for! Is that the 44 mm or 42 mm? I’m getting a pretty good offer, I might purchase this week. Wear it in good health. Stunning piece.

The strap is beautiful - I have received numerous compliments on the bracelet in just one week of ownership. The clasp is a bit difficult to operate for someone who bites their fingernails (it locks up tighter than a drum), but after the first week, it's getting ever so slightly easier to open. Comfort isn't quite on par with an oyster, but not far off. Overall, very satisfied.

This is the 42mm variant. I tried on the 44, but it was a tad too big for my taste (and I'm a bigger guy - 6'4" 250 lbs). My biggest advice is to visit your AD and try both on. I was convinced that I would get the 44 before trying them on, but the 42mm was the easy choice for me after a trial run.

42mm is the perfect size for this reference, given the lugs.
Beautiful watch.
Enjoy!
Mine says hi.
Photo is deceiving. Actually wears smaller. In fact, to me it visually feels smaller than my Sub.
