Icon20 Luxury backpack thread

Do we have any backpacks users here? I would like to see others watch + bag combo. I’m looking to get something nice to replace my old bag with something fancier and these two would be great options to pair with my 114060. What do you guys think?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone

Not luxury but I have an Oakley Kitchen Sink that I use when I travel. It is awesome.

there's an xhibit meme in there somewhere

I have a Tumi. It's not leather but it still looks new after 200,000 miles as I take it as a carry on along with a Tumi Polypropylene Carry on with 4 wheels.

I'm not sure if you want to carry a LV canvas backpack like that. People will either think it's fake, or immediately know you have a $2000 backpack.

If you go with LV, I'd get a backpack in their Taiga leather

for travel I can see a backpack being useful. for the office I'd get a briefcase with a shoulder strap, either Tumi or LV depending on budget & preference

Got this one yesterday, will be using it while traveling starting Thursday. Seems nice and if it holds up the same as my other Tumi’s I’ll be happy

Riding a motorbike or a bicycle almost every day I am a backpack guy.

About 1-2 years ago LV made a limited edition crocodile skin backpack and upon enquiry I was taken aback at the price of $10,000.

Having a LV carry on which weighs half the carry on weight limit, I'm concerned that the backpacks made from the likes of LV and MB are overweight and overpriced for my liking.

So I go for the lighter weight nylon/cordora backpacks. I've got a couple of Adidas backpacks which are great for me. At the same time, the carrying capacity is a little more generous than the likes of LV and MB.

My go to BP are LV Christophers in either EPI or canvas. I am old school that way.

Genuinely curious if the LV bag is more durable than a 100 dollar one?

Based on an old wallet I owned, the LV canvas fabric is really durable. What eventually ruined the wallet was stitching coming undone (which took 5+ years of heavy use)

But comparing to something like a $100 LL Bean nylon backpack is not too relevant IMO. one is a fashion/lifestyle accessory, and one is nice but utilitarian

I got this. Have a lot of tumi business bags and travel bags. Also own a lot of montblancs and their smaller leather items.

I prefer the tumi for bags. A lot more stylish and practical

Luxury backpack thread

I’ve had this bag for about four years. Not what I would call luxury, but top notch leather and materials.
