Seamaster Stopped After Service - Won't Restart
I just had my Seamaster 300 Professional (Bond) 2531.80 serviced by a well respected independent watchmaker. It worked perfectly for two weeks but then mysterious stopped. No amount of winding or gentle shaking will get it going. I have emailed the watchmaker but was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions to get it going. This model has the 1120 non-coaxial movement.

Seamaster Stopped After Service - Won't Restart
I get that winding doesn’t do anything. Do the hands operate when the crown is turned?
If so, the only guesses I can offer: - something has worked loose (maybe a screw) and is lodged in the balance hairspring. - the mainspring arbor isn’t attached to the mainspring any longer. If the hands won’t operate when the crown is turned then something else has happened. Either way, you’re in for another visit to a watchmaker. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
