I was hesitant about purchasing the DSSD because it seemed so over sized. I was originally going with the White Milgauss because I like unique and GMT-II and Submariners seem too common.

But I just got one and it's my first Rolex so I can officially say I am part of the club. :-)

can i join the club.. bought mine on the 5th of june and absolutely love it!

its so much more than 'just a watch' its a piece of art!

its one of my favourite watches in my collection. ;)

i know the difference between an mk I and mk II

can you please explain the MK III dial? what makes it different from the MK II?

i was unaware their even was an MK III dial for the deepsea at this point

First few in production

Love mine. Proud ownder of a Mark I dial. I would rather live under a bridge with it than in a mansion without it.

Anybody know when the first DSSD's came out? Mine is dated october 2008 M Serial. Could it be that mine is one of the first ones to be produced? Anybody have a DSSD that is dated before mine?

Love my DSSD, it is my daily watch. So far it is the most comfortable watches in my life. Once it is on, just like a part of my body. Sometimes foget to take off when i go to sleep. LOL!!
