The Crown guard is the very reason I got the 1392. I absolutely love the iconic look. It's my only non Rolex watch.
One key point is around the polished bezel - be prepared for loads of scratches..LOADS!!!!. This was a shocker for me as my other WATCHES bezels are all ceramic. However you get used to it and live with it. Happy hunting
