Automatic Watch Winders yes or ...?

Three yrs ago my vintage Pespi GMT Rolex required servicing (a screw came loose and stopped the rotor) at the same time I got it re-calibrated to fix the 2mins fast per week, and the crown buffed... like new... then i noticed it ran out of steam every 5 days or so from sitting idle when not on my wrist... miffed, and realized I didn't understand the power reserve, manual winding, etc... took a trip back to my watch dealer... we had a wonderful chat... now when it's not worn it sits on a watch winder... also it's nice to know the Rolex's are not sensitive to wind left, wind right winders. Aside form re-setting the time, and date... the winder keeps it fully wound day-in-day-out... it's also a nice place to store your watch... so I say yes...
