A PN on ebay...
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....tab%3DWatching
Does it look right? $15k starting sounds too low... but I think it will be bidded up very high. |

If you look in his auction, he posted that he had previously sold a PN and reports he only sold it for AU 19,100, but you click on the "View Item" and it has been removed.
Looks to be a FAKE.

I have seen this seller a lot on Ebay Australia. He has very good feedback, All his photos are poor and watches seem to be in poor condition, I would want to view a watch in person before bidding .
PS: He also had a Commex recently. |

yes, and I have a feeling he reads this forum too... Still waiting for him to relist his explorer 2, which went from $4500 down to $3800 over like 6 weeks (4 different listings). After I posted about it here in TRF commenting on his photos and his explorer 2, he changed camera and dropped the expy2 from listing
Last listing of the expy2... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&ih=002 |

Amazing he keeps his feedback so high when he seems to have questionable ethics. Maybe a lot of people keep quiet after being scammed for fear of being embarrassed. Kind of like going to a restaurant and having the food be bad but telling the waitress/waiter the food is fine. A lot of people don't like the hassle anymore of confrontation.

I can't say he has "questionable ethics". Just that I'm not really sure and I don't want to point fingers prematurely.

so far every sale looks "legit" of course, the ebay feedback system is flawed, and no one wants a negative, thus, they just keep quiet and move on.

The dial is re-done, and not even close.
Since all of the value in these watches are in the dial, I would pass. John. |
