You cannot see it on the clasp, but these were made in the USA and have a triangle on the clasp with JB stamped in it. (JB Champion out of New York).

Hope this helps.

If you google "JB Champion" - you will have your answer!

The stamp quality of the crown on the folding clasp on some of the earlies versions was very poor. There is a SOLID GOLD buckle/clasp (JB) on eBay that shows the same poor quality of the crown stamp.

That bracelet is a JB, USA made bracelet, looks 100% genuine. I have one. It was not as good a quality as the C&I USA made bracelet. The crown was a poorly made replica of the Rolex crown, and the inner clasp has a crown that usually is missing one of the circles on the right side above the crown point. Now my question is why was it reported as counterfeit, as I see nothing that indicates it is counterfeit and everything I see indicates it is genuine?

I think it was probably reported as a mistake. It was probably assumed that because it was not Swiss Made Rolex that it was illegal. It is genuine USA Made as stated. Seems like an honest misunderstanding.

I've reported again to ebay about my mistake. Sorry. Springer you can spot all the fakes from now on. It's all yours. Hope you have 2400 hours a day to net them all. Good luck.

Chris, 50's and 60's, for USA bands. Maybe 70's, but I've never seen one on a 70's Rolex. The band is a nice quality band, but the crown stampings weren't the best.

I noticed you guys been reporting "questionable" Rolex buckles and bracelets. Have you guys seen Ebay pulling these items ? I put them on my watching list and they seem to stay.

I do notice that Ebay pull the questionable watches. I'll continue to monitor these items and see if Ebay take any action against buckles and bracelet

paypalbid, who are "you guys" regarding your post on Rolex buckles? You might have better luck directing your question to the person that discussed that item. I for one can't help you on that one as I know nothing about buckles, except that you need one with a strap band. LOL
