As per Mondani's book I believe it is a MK1. Sharper crown edges on the dial and the f in feet does not extend as far as the end of R in SUBMARINER (as it does on MK2). He's got a keeper there!!

Gadhi my pictures with this iPhone 6 are terrible. He has had it services once 20 years ago in Switzerland at an RSC. I have pictures of him receiving it after the service.

Just saw Gandhi's last response.
Thanks all for the help. I will let him know. As I stated he has worn it as part of his collection for years and didn't know he had an rare version. I specifically noticed the red submariner after reading this forum. |
