2024 teasers and new releases for other watches at Watches & Wonders

Something is cooking...
Created a thread for 2024 new independent releases.

Please feel free to post, regardless how boring to you these watches are.

Thank you for creating this thread.

Simon Brette just put a teaser on their Instagram. Looks like they might be announcing the next version of the Chronomètre Artisans. If true don’t worry I will complain non-stop about how I can’t have it. Also it looks like it might have some purple elements which means I’m gonna be insufferable.

Some have received confirmation and paid deposit for their rose gold SBCA. Have you received your confirmation yet?

I never heard from them since I filled out the questionnaire I received back in May 2023. I sent them an email a few weeks ago but all I got was a boilerplate response. Kind of bummed but it’s not the end of the world. Happy for those who are getting it and can’t wait to see the full reveal.

Be patient. If not the rose gold, you will get the platinum or SS. All very nice.

You’re right. I have no real reason to complain. It’s great seeing a new brand have such immediate success. I’ll be cautiously optimistic :)

Out of curiosity any specific brand announcements you looking forward to?

All of them really. I know most of them are working on their new watches but the question is when they will release their watches. Maybe not this April but hopefully some will trickle through. Some have already released recently like Remy Cools, Renaud Tixier, Bernhard Lederer, Moser, Spaceone, Fleming, Christiaan van der Klaauw, The new model(s) by Romain Gauthier and Roger Smith will be stunners.

I’m with you on looking forward to all of them. I can’t wait to see what else gets announced. Out of the ones you listed Roman Gauthier is at the top of my list interest wise. Not that I’m in the market for one but just a big fan of the brand overall.

RG will be releasing 2 watches (hopefully soon). 1 is the Logical 2 and the other is the stunner.

I love the Logical One. Had it not worn so large on my wrist I would’ve definitely bought it. I can’t wait to see both of them but you really got my interest in this mysterious “stunner.”

Not sure if this counts as part of W&W but there’s a new Rexhep Rexhepi Chronomètre Contemporain II. This one has ruby indices and is limited to 10 pieces. It’s pretty sexy.

Parm is teasing what looks like might be a manual wind toric relaunch. I'm pretty interested to see that

Price is reasonable for a skeletonized tourbillon. 40mm is very wearable too. Paging @ap1

I’m actually kind of shocked, I was expecting this to be over 100K. The only drawback I can think of is the finishing. Moser does an OK job usually. I’m fine with the machine finishing they do on a 20-30K streamliner but I’m curious if they decided to spend more hours on the final product for this one. I feel like they could really show off if they wanted to. Again, great watch and price but would like to see it up close.

I love everything but the hands. Overall great watch and addition to Czapek. Very competitive pricing too.

Lange teaser is out. Possible yellow jacket datograph? Lots of chat about triangles. Triangle shaped Lange watch? LOL

Lange uses the triangle shape as reference points to create "ideal" positioning of different dial content...e.g. with the Lange 1, the middle of the "time dial", the middle of the big date and the middle of the small second form an equilateral triangle..

I love rainbow dials and this is very well executed. Very decently priced too if you can get it at retail.

Makes sense, I appreciate the explanation. But I think we should still secretly hope for a triangle shaped Lange lol.

For me, Moser sits in a weird spot where I'd rather just spend more and get something from someone with a more unique movement and better finishing or way, way less and basically get the same finishing.

In a way you have a point - the market focuses on finishing right now and that’s not Moser’s USP (their minute repeater is the clear exception). That’s why they are working on adding more handfinishing capability I heard Edouard Meylan say recently. If they get that right without adding 50% of the cost they have a unique value prop. Having said that: where do you find a skeleton tourbillon from an established independent for less than 80k?

Fantastic representation of the Elegante ethos - fun watch, bold design, ‘low’ MSRP, high margin.
