Incoming from the Blue Lagoon!

After some very useful tips from some really knowledgeable members in this forum I arrived in Miami from Europe yesterday evening.... I flew in but am sailing back across the Atlantic in a week or two.... Thanks to one or two of you guys I managed to source a lovely Seiko Prospex Turtle Blue Lagoon set with steel and rubber straps as a limited edition set, here in Fort Lauderdale at a very keen price ... I actually brought my SubC no date on my wrist but whilst I know it's a great tool watch, it could well get a bit Sporty out on deck over the next few weeks, and I wanted to rotate it with the Seiko whilst out on the high seas....I've worn an Exp II for similar trips and it has survived very well over the years , but the Sub is only a few weeks old , so, yes, I bottled it, or maybe used it as an excuse for a very beautiful purchase.... Best $350 I've spent in a long time! Thanks guys... Hopefully a couple of pics attached , one alongside its grateful brother. The Seiko will be taking a few punches for the team I suspect....

Watch looks great on rubber. It just screams that it's a watch with a purpose. Very cool

Great pick up! The SRP case also fits a ton of wrist sizes. So it is super versatile.

Thanks all... yes, it seems to be a lot of watch for the price and has a real purposeful look , especially on rubber.... I'll report back after the crossing with a few pics ... We will be stopping en route in Bermuda at the time of the Americas cup teams arriving, and also in the Azores so she will definitely be getting under a few waves along the way

I have the Blue Lagoon Samurai and really enjoy it. The blue dial is stunning, plus its running at +1 second/day average after a month!

The blue in the blue lagoon is just terrific. Very nautical. I urge people to see it in person or get one! Have fun, Sailaway68!
