I would get a long warranty and deep color. Oled can display really deep blacks that can get crushed and they also "wear out" faster than led/lcd

I went with the 5 year warranty that BB offers. I had the same BB warranty on my Samsung DLP. When the lamps went out after four years, BB replaced them for free.

That sounds like a plan! Enjoy -- they really have amazing colors. The golds are fantastic imo.

I have a 55" LG OLED. Excellent tv. My brother has the B6 I helped him set it up and it is a great tv.

Watching the NFL draft. I'm totally pleased with this TV. The 55 is a good size and the picture is amazing.

i have had a Loewe 65" OLED for a couple of weeks replacing a 50" plasma

out of the box its great but after ISF calibration it is simply stunning

i'll be getting the Loewe 77" when its released in May

apparently the reason the 77" screens are so expensive is that they use a single sheet of glass - whereas with smaller screens they can get two plus tvs per sheet?

Big screens are nice but I really don't like huge tv's in a living room, IMHO it doesn't look very classy, of course if it's in a special room or the basement that's another story, but in that case a video projector is a good bet. We have a 55 I think, though might be mistaking àd it might be 65, don't really remember, and from 3-4 meters away it is fine. That's for the living room, plan on putting another in the guest room on the wall, but since the couch is like 3,5 meters from the wall will probably take another 55, except if 65 doesn't look too big then I will make the exchange with the one in living room, but don't plan on getting Oled or 3D, a good old fashioned Led is fine by me, just might get one which has the edges turned towards you...

My father has the 77inch G series 2016 model, thing is incredible.
I have also seen the 65 inch wallpaper at the local BB store thing is beautiful. Only thing that sucks is you have to have the soundbar connected to the TV due to all of the TV hardware being in the sound bar. You can hide it but you need conduit in the wall since the connection is not in wall rated.

Don't buy an OLED until you have seen Sony's A1 models that are hitting stores in May.
I am hearing that they are spectacular!

They licensed LG's technology. Curious to see what they did with it.

They have been using Samsung panels for years and turn them into gold.
Pretty sure the same will happen with the LG OLED panels

There's some BestBuy stores that have them since the April 19th. Oh wow. It's amazing in person.

I'm just wondering when will the ATSC 3.0 OTA will be in the 4K OLED TVs. I'm guessing 2018 or 2019? I think I read that ATSC 3.0 OTA will be good if you have a strong internet connection. I'm confused about ATSC 3.0 OTA. I just hope i don't have any internet connection into order to watch tv.

Thinking of upgrading the living room's TV to 4K and a larger size as well. Have a very old 63" plasma TV which is still running well. But we don't have 4K HD broadcast over here yet so not much content to watch. The other alternative is 4K bluray but I don't think the library is this great for now, might be wrong.

I will actually like something 4K + 3D but 3D appears to be phased out by major TV makers. Never caught on I guess.

I think they may bring 3d back with 4k, as 4k passive 3d is 1080p

Did anyone actually use 3D? It seems like a selling gimmick to me.

Been watching the prices of the LG 65B6P & C6P...lowest from an AD was $3K before superbowl...thought they would dip again when the 2017 models released, bu they're now hovering around $3.5K!!!

I planned to pull the trigger if they dropped down to $2.5K, but now not sure if that will happen. 😣

I have 65" LG EG9600 oled for the living room. We sit 9ft away and it's perfect. Waiting for a 77" for the man cave and want to see what Sony does, they have always had great hardware to drive panels.

the Panasonic UB900 Blu Ray player upscales to 4K and the results are excellent

to really get the best result with these excellent screens i would not use the soundbar for audio - a stand alone amp/speaker system is far, far better especially to get surround sound

I like it. Quite a few blu ray releases are offered in 3d.
