NOMOS Zürich Weltzeit Anyone?

I am really interested in the NOMOS Zürich Weltzeit recently, is the simple yet complexity that draws me in.

Also, not as flashy which might work well for me in some occasions.

What does everything?

Here is a link to the watch: http://www.nomos-store.com/en/Watche...stal-back.html

It's a beautiful watch. I have a fellow colleague who was wearing it to work one day. Although he was wearing the blue one. I must say that it is a beautiful piece in the metal. It really is a simple looking watch but if you look closely, all the little details are impressive to say the least. It is in the price range of the oyster perpetual. If you already have a Rolex in your collection, I would say go for it. I don't have this particular watch, I do have the Orion, and Nomos watches oozes quality.

I have an Orion too. Love it and should wear it more!

Great watch, especially for the money. Like the white dial better than the blue and it dresses down well.

Wow that's a sharp looking watch!

How much can one of those be purchased for? I saw that the MSRP is $6100.

Great watch. I also agree that the white is more versatile than the blue, but both are really nice imo

I've owned one for 1.5 years. Wears a little small on the wrist which is fine by me.

You'll have to invest in some reasonable aftermarket straps as the OEM straps really do nothing for the watch (I wear my Weltzeit on some off the shelf Jean Rousseau ostrich straps).

My one warning is that while the watch looks great online, and in wrist shots, for me it's really underwhelming on the wrist. Make sure you get to try it on before pulling the trigger.

That's a great looking watch. Nomos is a terrific brand that I got turned on to only a few months ago. I now own a Club Datum and have my eye on a Tangente 38.

The Zürich Weltzeit costs 4420 Euros in Germany, which includes 19% VAT (which is refundable if you buy in person and claim the refund at the airport upon leaving the EU). The Canadian price is about 5266 Euros at current exchange rate. So buying in Germany will save you a LOT of money!

You can't go wrong with that watch if you travel.
