This year didn't have a great QB class. A lot of hype about a couple guys, but those guys aren't Andrew Luck. Sacrificing other strong needs for an iffy 8-5 QB is a bonehead move.

It will be interesting to see if the redskins pick "Danny style" (3 wr in the 2nd round all busted) or try to pretend they are an NFL team "Scotty style".

Funny the Texans had to draft a Qb. They better hope he's good after the osweiler mess. I'm a Denver fan and didn't like Osweiler when he was backing up Peyton.

Have to wonder if they wanted the Texas kid Mahomes.

As a colts fan it just sucks they got Watson. Was never a fan of his but the dude just wins big football games. And it always seems we have to play big games against them late in the year.

On a positive note we drafted a Hooker!!!

Trubitsky could be the next Tom Brady, or more likely, the next Ryan Leaf. Time will tell. I like Mahomes II as a QB and will watch his career with interest.

He looks tough. I don't know a lot about him. I'm glad the broncos got some O line help. I'm still not sold on our QB's and I thought they'd trade up to get McAffrey.

Da Bears...not bagging on the selection but to give up picks was an interesting move.

Cmon Hawks. Lock down CB or OL.

Yeah but there was no way we could reasonably trade up to #7 to get McCaffrey.

Lol but they had third pick! They really thought the 9ers wanted him? Even if they did, they would have to wildly overpay. It just makes no sense to pay that price.

how many qbs in the league are plug and play? you build a system around the qb. you dont ask brady to play in the panthers scheme and vice versa.

kap was a throw away fr winning the super bowl.

Agreed. Does not make sense. They must really, really, really like him...

Hawks must not have anyone they wanted as they traded down. Some thought they might take CB White LSU. They may get a shot at UW CB King in later round and he has size and skill set to fit in their D.

My bills took white. Glad to have a CB who seems as seasoned as possible. We will need him right away.

Nice. High rated CB. Likely first year starter on most teams.

That was my initial thought too, GB-man...but sounds like Bills and Jets were considering moving up to #2 to possibly take Trub (I know, it's nuts) so Lynch used that as leverage to extort a couple more picks from da Bears. Lynch had a helluva debut as GM getting Thomas and Foster, who might be best player in the draft.

Trubisky has some of the same tendencies as Geno Smith under pressure.

Kap was in a system tuned to him that allowed him to be successful. Nobody else has that system in place right now, with an open QB spot. It's a win now league. Not a spend three years building a team around Kap league. Kap isn't good enough to drop in and take a team to the playoffs, and nobody is going to pay him big money to experiment.

You can make it about other issues, but the critical factor is his ability to win right now. Nobody would care about his mouth and his antics if he had the talent to take the team deep into the playoffs on his own (look at Richard Sherman who mutinied on the sideline, for example).

Good point I'm sure when you have a top pick you are fielding offers left and right.

I wouldn't have been elated to see the bills take him. Would rather take my chances next year on a QB if needed.

I think dropping back 4 slots to add the first 4th round pick makes sense. Now, I would like him to make a choice at number 33, and not trade that pick. Or if he does trade, only drop a few slots further to add a 5th rounder.

Trader Ted--he might end up with 32 7th round picks!

Hoping the Hawks take Kevin King today if available. CB from UW.

The draft itself was interesting. Lots of unexpected moves and picks.

The talent pool was pretty MEH...overall a weak class...
