Just picked up this sub head only.. Serial #1616***

My concern is there is no space between the submariner and where it says its certified. Does this look right to you guys?

It is an awful photo, so hard to see any detail. The dial looks damaged, sadly, and the crown and all the lettering look pretty rough. Refinished, probably due to water damage. Later hands, probably, too.

Dial has some flaking occurring around the outside also. Is the watch pretty much a write off as a learning experience?
